The river has bubbling cascades of water in th wet season and tranquil pools in the dry season. And always the sounds of the birds. Take a picnic and local bottle of wine and explore. There is a picnic backpack in the chalet for you to use. |

Fish for trout in the river or creek in season. The river is stocked with trout twice a year, both upstream and downstream from us.

Relax by the fire and listen to your favourite music as you watch theevening mist roll in. In fine weather sit out on the deck, have a barbaque and watch the antics of the geese and waterbirds. Keep and eye out for feathered or furry locals. |

Play a game of golf on the lovely Manjimup golf course which boasts grass greens. A minimal charge allows you to play all day - you can break for lunch in town and return for an afternoon session if you wish. Visitors are most welcome.

If you would like a day or half day trip in the south west we are well situated to give you access to Nannup, Balingup, Bridgetown, Pemberton & Manjimup.
You can spend some time visiting Walpole and the treetop walk, or the many wineries and galleries of the area. A folder of places of interest and a map are provided for your convenience. |
